I now wonder how the author didn't get a C&D and/or a UDPR take down because of the domain name.

Almost all of the blog posts and articles I write nowadays are in Markdown, and it sure is painful sometimes when you need formatting that you just need a liiiitle bit of tweaking to get right. My solution is to fork the markdown tool I use

How do you handle bigger brands like Yamaha, Samsung, etc that have businesses in a wide range? Yamaha music branding is much different from Yamaha motorbikes, for example.

I used Firefox password manager for years, and moved to Bitwarden for: - Passkey syncing - Bitwarden on Android works properly, compared to Firefox's dedicated password app that's abandoned. - TOTP support (to use with some ap

WordPress coding standards is also full of padding. Spaces `like_this( foo, bar )`, curly braces on new lines, etc. Plus, WordPress bundles all JS and PHP dependencies, including a whole userland PHP polyfill for libsodium.

Yeah, I expected a bit of a rant or sarcastic post, but I'm genuinely happy it's a good post with good points. I use htmx in a couple of my projects and it's been great! Posts like these give me more confident about using htm

I think StackOverflow/StackExchange has served their purpose, and are now rightfully in a decline. There are some niches sites in the network like bicycling, English, Mathematica, Academia, etc. They contain extremely high quality answ

Sony flagships fit these requirements (micro SD card slot, swim, flagship chip, esim, etc) but they unfortunately don't feel as polished in the software end. Not to mention Sony phones being very difficult to find.

The only reason holding me from using granular PATs is that they _must_ have an expiration date and the maximum is one year.

HTMX always assumes that the incoming HTML is properly sanitized. If it isn't, the application is already vulnerable. HTMX triggers do in fact use JavaScript eval(), which will get blocked with a CSP that does not allow it. But you can

I appreciate there is good PDF support in Firefox now, but "Edit PDFs" is a bit misleading because it's only annotations. You cannot, for example, remove or edit existing text.
