I sometimes get wsl2 to be not responsive too, but you can force shutdown ask (WSL --shutdown) that solves most problems except networking.

I ctrl+f'd for Jet Audio, but didn't find any :( JetAudio was similar to Winamp, and arguable better in my opinion, because I can toggle the playlist window, and completely hide the player UI. I use it even today since 2006.

100 requests per minute doesn't sound like a lot of traffic. I suppose a blog like theirs should know to not use several plugins that kills a site at 100 req/man's to not sendno-cache graders when behind a reverse proxy.

I suppose for tax revenue. Sri Lanka recently started mandatory IMEI registration, and all existing phones are not required to do so. IMEI registration do not require any ID, but a tax money.
