That's a fallacy. NATO is being invited by these countries. Eastern European countries are basically begging for NATO protection. What Russia does there is pretty different, they invide a sovereign country that doesn't want them t

Yea, like I said: elevators can be used for that. I take my race bike in the elevator up to the 21st floor every day and park it in my appartment.

The numbers he mentioned are gross salaries, not net salaries. The things you mentioned are already paid by the difference (the highest income tax bracket here is 52%). You would expect the gross income to be much higher.

I'm aware. I was specifically talking about vehicles, but I see that I didn't include that information in my previous post. I think with present day technology the lights could be a lot smaller than searchlights no?

A bike ramp into the apartment is useless. You can just take the elevator with your bike, or you know... Just make a garage for bikes on ground floor. The article doesn't really say much about how to design a city for bicycles, which m

So why is it no longer in use? Seems to me that emitting an extremely bright flashing light is a great way to disorientate enemy infantry in close quarter combat scenarios.

Aside from that it seems like a horrible waste of non-renewal energy source to let someone drive to an address just to deliver one package.

I love Bitcoin, but why would I work for Bitcoin? It provides no single benefit. In fact, it only provides risks and more hassle (have to convert it to EUR to be able to use it). Burned my fingers on freelancing for Bitcoin a couple of time

I hate it that so little is being done to prevent the damage that will be caused by a CME. I think it's very likely that a CME will hit the earth within the next 100 years. If that will happen, western society will probably collapse. T

Just any programming blog. I don't see why it matters if the author is a female, you won't even notice that by looking at the code. Unless you're implying code written by a female looks different?

I'd really like to try this, but the price is wayyy too steep. Especially for a beta. For that price I almost get ReSharper, which does a ton more. I would probably pay $20~$30 for this.
