And congress decided that the president can raise tariffs himself. Congress has given away a lot of power, of the years. Ironically I think this is one instance that sort of thing made sense, but they should have done their usual and made

No, I read an article in a comment in Hacker News about how the program was potentially theoretically worthless until at least 2010. If the companies themselves are self-certifying I don't understand where any amount of money went - h

You could absolutely use timing for scoring, just have it be when you first hit the block (or perhaps the midpoint of the block), and compare that to when it's charted. The problem would be people walking forward/backward a bit.

To me it's almost more of a meditation game, similar to how Guitar Hero or other rhythm games could get when you got in the zone, but full body. On a hard track you don't have time to think, just move. If you get distracted, you

You won't fail out due to not hitting the blocks "right," other than direction. You fail from missing them (or hitting them the wrong way) or being in those box-hurt-zones, hitting the mines...and I think that's about i

We all known Japanese and Korean people are white by proxy in a lot of people's minds. My point wasn't about the grouping itself though, just the term global south effectively being "worse" than the previous terms. For

It’s funny, because on the face of it, it seems the worst of all. You might as well just say “dark skinned countries,” since that’s what the term is effectively getting at.

I'm not an economist, but I think the theory has merit. I don't think the execution does, if only because we almost certainly only have 4 years until the tariffs are mostly reversed. The complete lack of long-term planning is

The bigger difference is that Mercedes’ system only works on highways, under 40 mph, and you need a car in front of you that it essentially follows. It’s for traffic jams, and only usable in them. There’s not a big legal liability when the

Sure, but how often does that happen in most people’s lives, especially in the US? When they’re on vacation? Very few people are going to learn a language that they could use for a week or two in a place where people probably speak English

Trump was taking about tariffs, but nobody thought he’d take them this far, this fast. To be fair, it makes sense that if his…plan… is going to work, he needs to get in it quickly. 4 years isn’t a long period of time and if the country does
