I had a very similar experience just yesterday when searching for exactly "run_async" would not work at all. It seems to always be an issue with the special characters.

I don't remember the site, but one single time so far a website told me "we picked minimal cookie settings for you, since you sent a Do Not Track order". Very nice.

I hadn't worked with React or javascript before this project, but did a small Flutter project in university. I found dart easy to pick up because it's quite similar to Java, which I've used quite a bit. Also I find that there

Thanks for the tip! I might use that, need to think about a good way to deal with the additional white space in the card :)

Thanks for the feedback! That makes sense, thanks for letting me know. I fetch the prices via an API from my payment processor, which does the guessing. I'll add it to my todo list to offer a manual override :)

Haha i spent like 3 days on that image in total. The starting point of the image is from undraw.co (i think it's called "web app"). First I wanted to use recursion but in the end it was a lot easier to just make a simple loop

I turn existing websites into apps at https://webtoapp.design I went with Flask (python) + Bootstrap for my website. The apps are created in Flutter, which was a great choice looking back on it. This allows me to have 1 codebase

Wow, I just downloaded that app a week ago. It's absolutely amazing for language learning. Aside from that, as an app developer, I'm really looking forward to that bill that will hopefully weaken app stores.

First time I've seen it too, but I find it more fitting actually. I see Microsoft as a lot more of a tech giant than Netflix, but maybe Im judging by the wrong criteria.

Tax incentives depend on your legislation, but they can make a difference, yes. Leverage also comes with higher risk, which makes it a bit of an unfair comparison in my opinion. If you really wanted, you could also use leverage on your stoc

What if the ransomware has been hiding for a few months before it activated? You'd either have overwritten the last clean backup by then or you'd restore the ransomware too. Or am I missing something?

Selling your house in an emergency would be similarly bad as exiting the stock market at an unfortunate time. The long-term ROI after costs and inflation of stocks (global) is about 3% higher p.a. than of property (global). Unfortunately th

No it's not. In many cases it can be beneficial to rent and invest your money instead, as stocks have a higher longterm ROI than property.

Who do companies like ZDI sell early warnings to? I don't quite understand how a vulnerability could be worth more to them than the vendor who could fix it (assuming they don't somehow abuse the vulnerability).
