Most are gone, but there seems to still be a few left up. No idea why.

Definitely. The original CD-ROM version contained regular CD audio tracks, so it's easy to rip. It's been in my collection for years.

I haven't tried Crashplan, but I recommend either Backblaze or SpiderOak. I used SpiderOak in the past when I had both a Windows and a Linux PC I needed to keep backed up, but now that I have one Windows PC I use Backblaze. Backblaze really

In my opinion, it's not enough. It should not be enabled by default, and it should not exist at all. Services like Quora should not introduce changes that compromise the privacy of accounts that already exist. If I hadn't seen this submissi

I didn't mind their real full-name policy until now, since you could still answer questions anonymously. Allowing other members to see the questions I'm viewing by default, however, crosses the line.

First I'm manually deleting all of my answers, then I'll ask Quora to delete the rest. I've had bad experience with deleting accounts in the past, where my content would remain on the website even though my account was gone. And not having

Not everyone is on Unix. Whois doesn't ship with Windows, but it can still be downloaded at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897435.asp... .

I've had a syncope like that before when I was younger. I had the flu at the time, and one morning I immediately got out of bed and went to the bathroom. On the way back to my room, I started to feel dizzy and noticed my eyesight fading. Fi

There isn't a lot of context, but the tl;dr is that Attrition.org keeps track of charlatans and plagiarists in the security industry, and Rahul Tyagi is allegedly one of them. * http://attrition.org/errata/charlatan/ * http://attrition.o

That's true, I completely forgot about the Cold War. I grew up in the 90s, so I guess I'm lucky to have never had that looming over my head.

I'd buy this. I didn't have any interest in standup comedy until Louis CK made the news here, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd jump at the chance to broaden my collection and support the comedians at the same time.

I was surprised at how pessimistic they were. Did the future really look that bleak 25 years ago?

I agree. Although the hero units were a nice spin on the RTS genre, I would have preferred to play without them. I was glad to see that they weren't used in Starcraft 2 multiplayer.

This seems to be the new definition of "hack", just like when somebody "hacks" into your Facebook account and posts rude messages when they visit your home and find your phone or computer unlocked.

Not sure if money's an option for you, but I don't think you'll find anything with 5-6 drives at this price. At AUD $280, it's cheaper than a lot of 2-drive NAS' out there.

I hadn't heard about that (so please excuse my ignorance), but surely it's just a case of somebody accidentally/intentionally bringing it in on removable storage, like a USB drive, and plugging it in.

Have you taken a look at the ASUS Transformer Prime? It's not quite what you're looking for, but it might do the job. The keyboard dock gives it a total of around 18 hours of battery life. http://eee.asus.com/en/eeepad/transformer-prime/fe
