So, I'm the one who posted the LA Times article link to HN. This UAV fascinates me to no end. It seems these are launched by the solder who essentially carries this thing around with them until needed. They launch the UAV and then fly it to

Black hole version of inception! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/ Actually, this is much to complicated for my feeble mind. I am sticking with the "Parallel Universe Box" from the Futurama series ( http://futurama.wikia.com/wiki/Paral

For me personally it was the title. For me, I am not as interested in "pictures and vision" as I am interested in the ongoing dominance struggle between Google and Facebook. Sensationalism, or at least a good teaser title, wins the day for

I would love to have his karma. I screwed up with my first post and despite my best efforts I haven't moved up. Maybe if I show kindness to the new yahoo browser my karma will improve?

Living in the LA area I really struggle with the issue of being in introvert in a society that almost demands a person be an extrovert. Job searching was horrendous because I wasn't interested in being a "drinking buddy". I would gladly han

Darn that is effective! I think just posting the story to HN works really well also. I ended up googling the game and poking around the forums. Nice marketing scheme.

I used to do custom SharePoint development using SharePoint and MOSS 2007 from Microsoft. Fun developing experience. I was doing document management for some rather large companies. Guess where Microsoft put all of the images, word, excel,

Ah, I used to love these things growing up. I remember a book I always read at the library but I can't think of the name of hand. It had awesome experiments like making your own dye, growing various types of crystals, recycling rags to ma

I've used bugger since the first of the Austin Powers movies. My friends and I used it until one of them married a South African girl and she made us stop being as it was incredibly impolite and rude apparently. I started again last year af
