There is a whole industry ready to throw money at a vehicle which does not need humans to operate, can evade detection, can be cheap enough to be discarded after transporting a highly valuable cargo.

Well, may be I am unlucky one, but I just tried and freshly installed MacOS in VirtualBox VM can see any other USB device except iPhone XR. This setup used to work find a few years ago but stopped a at least on 2018. Will try VMWare.

These days, unfortunately, it is not possible. Well, you can virtualize MacOs, but you can not connect iOS device to it, nor you can run a virtual iOS device inside it. Apple went out of its way to deliberately disable physical phones conne

AI which is slightly less effective than a well-educated, well-trained, expensive radiologist is better than nothing. There are places in this world which could afford a $XXK x-ray machine, but don't have access to a good radiologist.

Those "algorithms" can run locally, on a NAS or a desktop, generate the metadata and make it available to you only on your mobile. I can see myself paying for such software if it was mature enough.

Sofia Antipolis is France's answer to Silicon Valley. It is smaller, slower, cozier, nicer, younger, healthier, happier French Silicon Valley. I love it.

Right! Don't like feces, don't step into them. Don't like Tenderloin, just don't go there. Easy, right? Right?

Can confirm. In general, unless you actually step into them, human feces are not a problem. Just watch your step and be alert. How difficult can it be?

Counterargument: I get a patent for a special-purpose shell company MegaCorpA, license the technology to MegaCorpB for $1, concentrate all the profits in MegaCorpB and thus MegaCorpA will get a perpetual patent. Tying patents to revenues of

Using mobilenet to detect facial features. Smart! Would suggest to go one step further and remove background before processing the face.

Plenty of room for optimization. Raspberry PI has enough power to detect license plate numbers on its own, offline.

Would suggest using two cameras for stereo photogrammetry. Using mini-projector to highlight clues would also be cool. I see a micro-projector with two cameras just 10 cm apart on a single tripod. With stereo the tripod does not need to be
