A service and a pricing problem. All cases of piracy I have observed stem from one of 3 reasons 1. Too expensive. This encompasses several varieties, like the media in question being literally priced more than the person is willing to pay,

Aww I would have picked Roost. Then instead of Cargo, you could have Corvo and a whole bunch of bird names for the tools.

One thing that definitely makes sense is yearly eye checkups, including eye pressure. I had undiagnosed glaucoma for a year or two until my eyesight got bad enough to go to the Dr. No headaches or anything. Fortunately I still have enough v

I'm water cooling both the CPU and GPU in my PC and have found out that leads to virtually no airflow over the m.2 slot. For now I've simply placed a fan aimed directly at the slot on top of the GPU and that keeps the SSD at a 50

I would probably use a separate templating language to manually generate variants of the function for each type I need, check those in git along with the template.

I've honestly started questioning if the gamma representation was even worth it. Does using 8 bit linear really lose out on so much fidelity? I guess to test that you would need a display capable of showing 10 bit colour or maybe a CRT

You can even get away with 16 bit fixed point math, like what Imagemagick does.

The problem there is you have to find a buyer to turn that metal into liquid money. The only one you can sell it to is usually the same place you bought from, and they will make sure to make a profit.

I suspect it should be possible to have something that reflects light without doing work, or at worst absorbs a small portion of the incoming light and reflects the rest. Since it will sit on a desk, it will always be under light when obser

Dwarf Fortress actually does something like what you describe. It simulates natural phenomena and history to generate the world. Roguelikes in general show a lot of experimentation in that space.

The C interface for aligned memory allocation is aligned_alloc(). The returned pointers are always freed with free(). So what is probably happening is that aligned new calls aligned_alloc(), and then aligned delete simply calls the regular

Regarding the LCD problem: Don't you simply have to align the signal sent to the glasses with the LCD frames? You don't need the full delay, as the switching is rhythmic, so you only need up to 1 frame, or 1/30th of a second.

Rust's borrow checker should make it impossible to reference an unlocked pointer in safe code. I suspect it should be possible to have a compacting heap as a library.

I have used fork as a stupid simple memory arena implementation. fork(); do work in the child; only malloc, never free; exit. It is much, much heavier than a normal memory arena would be, but also much simpler to use. Plus, if you can split
