In other words, zero BS tolerance is not an excuse to just talk all the time.

Interesting. That puts it into perspective how toy-like the Russian internet censorship really is, despite all the local noise about it.

Ah, that brings back decade-old memories. Dreamcast was my last really used gaming console. I also made a VMU emulator, but never quite figured out how to run the BIOS - there were two opcodes missing from the instruction set that the real

I'd love to know how they solved the barrel erosion problem. A rail gun is as satanically simple in theory as it is satanically hard to engineer. A coil gun won't have this problem, but unfortunately the magnetic fields are harder

Not exactly. It can be protected from by a multi-layered whipple shield, kind of like what was proposed to protect spaceships from meteors. On the other hand, it won't be something you can line a ship or a plane with, so yeah... Always

Fun fact - "microscheme" means "integrated circuit" in Russian. Oddly fitting. So far i don't like the fact it can't handle interrupts (unless by C code), and that it seem to ignore the C++ FFI completely. That

Is it really that bad in the USA? Over here in Russia it's the SMS of all sorts, can't remember ever getting called like that. But there the difference ends - the "no advertisements" lists tend not to work too, and askin

Interesting. Anecdotal evidence to the contrary - i have a sunshine-bright light fixture at home (600W worth of metal halide arc lamps), and while it does make the dull winter days less dark and gray, it also tend to make me tire quicker. I

This begs the question of what would be better - to compile your favorite language to C and use something like Emscripten to make JS, or to compile your code directly to JS? So far as my experiments went, a 3000 native score Dhrystone test

Artem here, that's a strange idea. Right now the sensor got a fixed gain, and so exposure time is meaningless. It won't be too hard to add, but what sort of image would there be, with the frame time of many hours, line by line as
