I once had chatGPT run a research about popular stacks in job openings across Europe. Not that I don't already work with React + some Python, I was just doing it out of curiosity for it's results. After 5-7 minutes of work, it ret

I still believe that my #1 think that stunted my growth as a junior SWE was overthinking my personal projects and languages to use for them, instead of just building whatever I felt it's interesting or intriguing to build.

I'll go ahead and say that, even if there was a method that deletes your data when you request it, nothing stops them from using that data to train the model up until that point, which is "good enough" for them.

As someone with fast metabolism who struggled to gain weight: I get that, but at the same time, understanding that there's trial and error with your own body but is ultimately all about input and output does more good than saying "

As someone who has been dealing with flared hemorrhoids since I was a teenager, I improvised my post-2 work by simply washing with the shower pistol whose cord is long enough to reach behind me while I'm sitting on the toilet. Since th

This article reminded of the days when building anything wasn't driven by neither the fear of being judged or the need to impress a future employer, but because I just felt like it. I think there's a lack of kind of approach in ge

Unhook made YouTube actually useful for my friend who has ADHD, since it lets you hide all recommendations in front page + side bar. Luckily Google hasn't "manifest away" this type of extensions (yet).

I will preface this by saying that, I decided to stop pursuing a job as a software developer because my 2 years of work experience mean nothing in the job market. Now that I ended up finding a job as a waiter (of all things) I finally enjoy

To play devil's advocate: Free will not existing doesn't mean that your environment doesn't affect your outcomes. On the contrary, in fact. So convincing you means that I am the environment that affects you.

I had a similar train of thought like the author has, but it happened while I was playing Expedition 33, which is a game made by former Ubisoft developers who decided to go indie, and made something that is really cool. It made me realize t

As someone who grew up with an Atari, the difficulty was coming from you having to rotate the turret for target priority. Turning it into a touch and shoot (I only tested it on my phone) removes that portion of the game.

I think the argument made is, if there's no added value by understanding something deeper when it will inevitably do better than now, the only reason to dig deeper is for one's curiosity. All that digging now translates to experti
