Except Tango didn't come from Facebook.Facebook has never made anything new aside from new standards in marketing and scummery. Google at least sometimes toy with the idea of things being open and is heavily investing in R&D othe

Whenever someone talks about Ghostery, this is, of course, brought up. However, what isn't brought up that providing this data (GhostRank) is voluntary and I think it's disabled by default (but user is asked during the first time

Slightly OT: I see a lot of people here talking about EULAs. What about EULAs and Europan law, EU or national? I don't think they're compatible.

That market does exist today, Fastmail.fm is only one example I can think of off the top of my head (I surely got the ofs and offs wrong). I talk about them so much that I sometimes feel like a marketing goon ...

The level of support and communication provided by Fastmail is one of the reasons I use their services as well. I even got a very human and nice response when asking a Symbian-related question.

This reminds me (and I apologize for the OT), I know Singapore also relies heavily on camera surveillance, but is it known whether they then process the data in a similar (i.e. harvest as much as they can) way to LAPD? Are there any known i

Symbian isn't supported any more even today and Ovi Store has been frozen. And Symbian is much more of a "smart" phone OS than WP8. Also S40 isn't really Symbian. :)

The "featurephone" OS is S40 and it's in both "classic" phones (e.g. 515) and Ashas.... unless there is something I've missed completely. And come to think of it, I haven't heard any confirmation of closi
