Another project targeting Java on iOS is XMLVM[1]. It has several frontends, including JVM bytecode, and several backends, including Objective-C (and vanilla C, these days). 1. http://xmlvm.org/overview/

If we look at Groupon as a model, it becomes clear that SG&A is the major expense for a deals company like Living Social. Earlier in its existence, marketing was also a huge cash sink for Groupon. This has improved for them as their pr

If you're looking for XMonad on OSX, check out OSXMonad( https://github.com/xmonad/osxmonad ). It's pretty usable at this point. One problem with it (and any of the other tiling solutions), is the drop shadows OSX adds to windows. When yo

The spirit of the requirement is to encourage contributions back to the GPL version. You can fix or modify the GCFL version as needed - the only requirement is that you contribute back any changes to the SDK itself back to the GPL version.

Our focus has been on support for the mobile platforms - iOS and Android. As such, the deployment tooling is really focused on releasing games to the app store. This may change in the future - for the time being, if you're interested in re

Wine has a pretty good DirectX to OpenGL translation layer. It could be leveraged to provide this. Many games on Steam run quite well on top of Wine, and some of the OSX games available on Steam already use it.

To solve the security issue, the bookmarklet could perform some sort of hash checking on the source and refuse to run if it's changed. The question is, can a hash function and verification logic be made small enough for this to be viable?
