I’m scratching my head after reading this. Bitcoin doesn’t have “gas fees”. That’s an Ethereum thing (the term and the fee being very high). I’ve read online that Bitcoin transaction fees are in cents. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can

Good for the author on stopping reading the comments on HN. I don’t think anybody reads hundreds of comments on HN. Most people would read some top comments, collapse the comment thread, check the next comment thread, etc. If someone really

Personally, I’ve concluded that most housework isn’t anywhere close to proper exercise that raises heart rate a lot or stresses muscles a lot. Not that housework is useless, but it’s not going to offer the benefits of even an at home workou

I recall trying this a few years ago using my Telegram account, but I could never figure out how to edit a published post or delete it. There were also some other drawbacks that I don't recall now.

Microsoft needs to disband the Teams team and start afresh with a non-Electron base that’s better designed. MS Teams is awful on Windows too. It’s slow to respond and makes the system slower. Having 16GB RAM and not running anything else th

Yeah, Apple needs to decouple major OS releases from releases/updates to Safari and other Apple apps. Safari is probably the most important here. But then, Apple also wants to keep keynote events filled with enticing news and updates.

Looks nice. I have a few questions, if you don’t mind answering. 1. How is the work for the app funded, and will it continue to be free? What’s the business model to ensure longevity? Is that a hosted service to store/sync information?

I’d also recommend Nicholas Carr’s 2011 book “The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains”. I read it a long time ago and was impressed with its insights on attention (or the lack of it) and the usage of the Internet.
