<Blank> Degrangement Syndrome, I think MrBeast has definitely reached that status by the rabid amount of hate he gets whenever brought up here or on reddit.

Yep I hope that mindset never dies. Meta is one of the last engineering-first companies in big tech and willing to live demo something so obviously prone to mishaps is a great sign of it. It's not unlike SpaceX and being willing to ite

Majority Element is rated easy because it can be trivially solved with a hashmap in O(N) space and that's enough to pass the question on Leetcode. The O(1) space answer is probably more like a medium.

As a salaried employee there is no "salaried time." You're paid for your output not the time spent on it. This goes especially true for Microsoft where lots of people put in far less than a 40hr workweek. Literally no one bat

There are teams for maintaining massive services where you can build promo packets with a couple <1% cost reduction PRs. I've worked on a non Amazon but similar team where half our M2's org charter was explicitly cost reduction

That used to be the case but as of a couple years ago (maybe 2023?) pay packages got bumped and in terms of TC Amazon is very competitive now. You'll likely get a better offer than Google in cash value. But the non-TC benefits are real

This is not really an accurate representation of FAANG hiring and job searching. In reality, there is a very very high amount of job hopping and also connections to people at other FAANGs (and there's also levels.fyi and blind) so we&#

Iterating over a 2D array using nested loops is an O(N) operation. N is the size of your data, how it's represented in an array is irrelevant.

You can safeguard against this by having a whitelist of commands that can be run, basically cd, ls, find, grep, the build tool, linter, etc that are only informational and local. Mine is set up like that and it works very well.

The "deal" at Microsoft is that you get paid 30-50% less than other big tech employers but it's a lot chiller (imo this is true from my experience at both msft and faangs, I hear it's worse recently though). A LOT of peo

I disagree with the OP that AI coding can't be taught. My answer to why so many people have trouble would be that they refuse to learn. I see tons of people who are insanely biased against AI and then when they try and use it they give
