Only for those on the lighter edge of the spectrum. I have a severely autistic sister who requires constant care and could never be functional in society. I feel I have more right to speak for her than the OP does. The neurotypical or neuro

There are lots of companies working on light solar-powered drones, and in fact some of them call them pseudo-satellites. Airbus, Boeing, NASA, DARPA... the list goes on and on. This really isn't a setback for the field in general.

I actually agree with you there. If you browse some of my older comment history, I made that exact point that he trusted a foreign journalist team to filter sensitive NOFORN and SAP information. However, I believe the net good that has come

I'm for a pardon for Snowden, but not Manning. Snowden released info on a deeply classified and unethical program, targeted to dismantle the programs in question. Manning carte blanche released TONS of data about TONS of things, trusti

I can't speak for Windows 7, but I believe you could mark an ethernet as metered in Win 8, but you definitely can't in Win 10. Edit: I take it back, I was wrong. No ethernet metering. You can do it via regedit, but no way to do it

If you marked your connection as metered, I believe it respected that and wouldn't download it.

If this leak is real, it points to one of two things. Either it isn't the NSA and is a company or some quasi-governmental group - owing to the fact that any of this shit the NSA makes would be on JWICS terminals and absolutely not acce

We've examined all the options. We already use browser fingerprinting, and that takes care of a good percentage of it, but for the truly committed there are really only two options: Blocking all VPNs, or using supercookies. I'm ac

Yup, and I seriously appreciate those that do that, but it's the small providers which inevitably end up screwing us over. Some small VPS company has a vulnerable server that someone makes a VPN on, and suddenly we get a wave of ban ev

Honestly, people are just settling on redux. It builds on flux and really is pretty easy to use. Is it the best solution? No idea, but it works and it's quickly becoming the de facto implementation.

What's the point of a torrent honeypot? It's incredibly trivial to track which IPs are downloading a torrent; operating the site which offers magnet links gives you no additional information whatsoever.
