There are plenty of people on this board that aren't $200K+ software engineers. The median pay for my local area in the US is $35K at best, assuming it has risen the last few years.

There are plenty of things that still need oil and grease in EVs still, but it is in such low quantities that we could synthesize most of that from air and it still not being a cost of any concern.

EV batteries are pretty reliable, however the suspension system and wheel bearings and physical brakes are more likely to be neglected because it sees less shop time despite usually weighing more. I think most of the bodies of EVs will rust
