The problem is their target market is people who don't have (or can't get) a credit card. If you already have a credit card, whats the point of Afterpay?

The first time I saw it detect pedestrians and cyclists that the human driver hadn't even noticed yet, I realised it is also going to save lives.

Additionally, we have increased patrols of the wires in regional areas, installation of spreader bars, and regular clearing of the trees and shrubs near the wires.

Checkout TiDB. It sounds too good to be true, and it is, because transactions must be co-ordinated across multiple nodes on the network. Thus the write throughput can be very high but the write latency is also very high.

I think the battery performance will fall off a cliff rapidly. The graph over time will behave more like the nissan leaf than a Tesla.

I should add that the model 3 warranty is similar on paper (but the model S/X is 160k miles). Older Tesla's have so far shown to largely outperform this though.

I don't buy it. I think theres a dirty secret that they are using a much cheaper battery with prismatic cells that won't last as many years (or charge cycles) as we've become accustomed to seeing in Tesla batteries. This won&

I've found single core 5950x performance to be 20-30% faster in my ruby/rails benchmarks, vs my old 4 core Xeon (which had single core turbo at 4ghz). Very happy with the upgrade

I run such an AC pump, and I had good success adding a VFD controller instead of buying a new DC pump. It still runs off AC but internally runs off DC and back to AC again. It now has soft start and variable speed control, and draws about 3

If you have a garage and a power point at home, you just leave it plugged in while you're not using it. You don't really even have to think about it - definitely more convenient than having to find a gas station once a week
