Man, that's just a bad precedent. Space shifting should still apply to the internet and digital files.

Yes, but how can end users opt out of using Cloudfare?

Easy to say don't use Chrome, harder to say don't use Cloudfare. And if we're taking things to task for monopolizing a market and being a threat to the future of the open internet, I'd say Cloudfare is and will always be

Well that's a hell of a specific block message. Always interested in checking out new Linux distros but not interested in drama.

I haven't gone super-super-deep into Ghibli but I feel confident saying either My Neighbor Totoro or Spirited Away. Be careful to keep your expectations straight for any of the Ghibli films you watch after Spirited Away though, because

Combine an LLM with long-term memory formation/recollection and a protracted (~18 year?) incubation period where it interacts with the outside world, and... the line between AI and consciousness would be pretty blurry at that point.

I keep meaning to research this, and maybe this isn't the right place, but how are things going for Linux executables? Last I tried Linux on ARM it seemed like application-level support for ARM was very spotty. It doesn't seem lik

They changed this with PS5 to use the western configuration, even in Japan. The reactions from Japanese gamers were quite humorous. “At last they’re making it uniform? Japan has been defeated.” “Yep, trash.” “Sony traitors.” “This is a bull

That depends on the jurisdiction, but in my view I err on the side of "but it's necessary." A society without copyright would be a much poorer one, and humans figured that out a long time ago.

It's about focus and knowing your limits, which is always going to be difficult to self-determine. I thought getting rid of streaming services would make me want to read more, but I found other ways to be distracted. Definitely, humans
