Yeah, whatever small amount of Koolaid I was excited to drink went out the window when they ditched the charity angle. A broken clock's right twice a day and Musk is right about that.

Yeah I'm kinda in the same position. I pay for both One and Workspace for myself and not sure which to use for some of this stuff. I mostly default to my personal account since it has more context, but then bringing in stuff from the W

The thing is, yes it will still happen, but at substantially decreased rate. Groups of people banding together to solve a problem or figure a solution will slowly stop forming. Everyone will be out there learning just for themselves. The co

I've always admired Nintendo (NCL) for adequately managing their various successions, even in the case of sudden death (Satoru Iwata). I wish there were deep dives into their practices but they're very secretive.

Meta has to release the hardware, then we can get started on alternate OSes. It's a shame open source hardware isn't a thing in this area, but we've been here before. (Buying locked down devices and installing alt OSes.)

I tried Kdenlive, OpenShot, Shotcut, Pitivi and others. It's a personal thing but I just could not get used to their UIs. Well except for Pitivi, but that one is way too buggy. I even briefly considered using ffmpeg and bash to get the
