Are you joking? Cocoa / GNUStep applications have been around for years and Apple has in no way attempted to punish anybody for making them. GNUstep has already been tracking Apple's Cocoa for years without Apple complaining. If you had an

When you have ClearChannel submitting 1700 apps for all of their completely identical Golden Oldies stations it is indeed spam. There are already several apps that aggregate streams. That is really the way to go.

This is what happens when a PowerPoint presentation is your presentation. PowerPoint should be an aid to a presentation, not the whole shebang. You should be prepared to give a presentation even if the power goes out and you have to go by

See they are just covering their asses at this point. Besides, bugs are not random nor can one casually observe them to be little until more is known. Might be a huge problem that takes them weeks to solve.

This isn't "regrettable" it's simply par for the course from everybody's favorite tech company. The only thing they will regret is getting caught, much like any sociopath.

I am not optimistic about the success of droid phone store solutions. Much money can be had by individuals coding for app stores on their own, and most individuals will not target both platforms (in my opinion) so they go where the money i

As the lion's share of phones are bought with a contract, this is a point that deafens my ear. You buy your iPhone along with signing up for the contract. The networks throw in one of the Android iPhone clones for free with your contract.

There is a cage match, and it is for developer mindshare. Google's java clone environment vs. Apple's Obj-c solution. This was the whole thrust of his article. Code for Android because pretty soon they will be dropping them from blimps fo
