Yeah it is. I always use dish soap, and it will definitely take off any oil that hasn't been polymerised. I think the people who believe this (and use cast iron) probably haven't seasoned it hot enough or have scraped off the seas

But I do recommend therapy first. You can use some online service like BetterHelp or one of the competitors. Better to give money to an individual though. But whatever is easiest for you.

Wow I had Lyme Disease a few weeks ago, it was INTENSE. The antibiotics they give you make you puke every day too. Or they did for me at least.
