I'm not so sure about that. For the basics that's definitely true, and no doubt if you're a C++ programmer then it will be an easier transition, but if you're coming from a higher level language like Java, C#, PHP etc t

Excellent! I've started using Vert.x with Kotlin instead of PHP for making restful API's and it's wonderful. Event driven, strongly typed and performant. Looking forward to trying this out.

I also wouldn't call JavaScript great. It's adequate and tolerable. Typescript makes it better. Languages I'd call great include: Kotlin, C# and D.

If our goal is true anonymisation, that is, even the host cannot know who the data belongs to, why are we hashing data at all, and not completely removing it? Replace the pii (name, email address, phone etc) with a fixed number of *'s
