I have been thinking the exact same thing, but once again based on nothing other than a hunch and following lots of altcoin stuff from the sidelines. Doesn't mean I don't regret throwing some BTC away when they were worth cents!

A front end developer in State Gov in Australia can easily be $90-110k, fwiw. Can confirm for east coast anyway.

Bose QC35s. Day and night. Pretty much always wearing them. Active noise cancelling changed my life and is up there with the smart phone and Kindle as far as technology that most made my life better.

Same goes for a lot of services I've found .. but it doesn't seem to be talked about much. The fact it happens for a service as massive as Outlook is unforgiveable though.

Count my 10 as lost! To be fair they were worth a few bucks at most when I lost them. I personally saw someone accidentally wipe 150 or so when they were around $10.

Great work. Big fan of no-bullshit designs. I really wish websites (and apps!) focused on the content more. HN, Reddit (to an extent), etc are perfect.

Another QC35 addict here. I can't live without them anymore. I rate them up with the Kindle and smart phone as my favourite tech gadgets ever.

You've been spamming the same site repeatedly for days. It's currently on the front page of /show multiple times.

Is there a reason this is on the top of HN that I missed? Is FreeBSD ok?

I've always loved the idea of a back-to-basics www2 project. Not enough people care about this stuff for it to ever work though. 99% of people are perfectly happy with the FB/Google/etc world.

I remember that blowing our minds when we first saw it. I miss all the Easter eggs in software. These days people just add the Konami code JS to their web site or app then pat themselves on the back for being original.

Exactly how my voluntary departure went from 2 major Sydney (AU) companies. Except at one the pub-lunch-with-drinks was paid for by CEO (although he didn't come personally).

I just switched to this a week ago and loving it. I can go for walks and carry nothing but my phone, and still grab a coffee etc. My last week of spending has been done entirely via NFC payments.

I'll look into it, thanks. I'm sure someone else has already submitted it by now if so. According to Quora and Reddit threads this has been going for at least a few years.
