Do you genuinely think Angular's template language and all the complexity it comes with is better than JSX just saying "anything between {} is plain JS"?

Of all the ways to write how your HTML is supposed to look from JavaScript, JSX is probably the closest to Javascript there is. It's a very simple syntax translation to JS function calls, and all code / logic is still plain JS. Ev

The better European induction cooktops have an individual touch slider control per "ring". I have some family members with those and that control model makes the touch thing a non-issue. No need to wait while pressing +/- eit

I love what she does here: https://youtu.be/XvDZLjaCJuw?t=949 , also demonstrating pipes and scripts. The input she chooses makes the whole segment pretty damn funny.

Stardock's WindowFX is probably the closest you're going to get. It's old, was never all that stable and never got super popular (compared to WindowBlinds), but it should work. https://www.stardock.com/product

Stardock's WindowFX is the Compiz equivalent for Windows. It still seems to exist: https://www.stardock.com/products/windowfx/ I remember trying it in the XP/Vista era alongside Compiz/Beryl and it

JSX is easy to summarize as: HTML where everything in curly brackets is a JS expression that gets evaluated. There are some additions (prop spreading) and restrictions (curly brackets apply to whole attribute values and element bodies only)

I've been using it since a few betas in on all my devices, with zero issues. Anecdata and my work is mostly Chrome(/ium) and Android Studio.

It doesn't work very well in office environments unfortunately. I gave it a try with my work MBP and Mac Pro, and the amount of cursor judder / keyboard lag was wild. It'd also just plain not work at times. I think things are

The camera bump on bump on bump design is really disappointing to see. There must have been a better way to deal with this surely? I can only imagine all the dust and grime build-up in all those ridges, especially in between the three camer

No reason why you can't just generate random images and add them to the real database, indistinguishable from actual hashes. As long as the test images aren't public it's low risk, and even if they leak they could be removed

I wish they'd just offer the great current Mac app. It's there, it's fully functional and works great. This really is a shame. Electron apps are slowly becoming the bane of my existence. 1Password was the only native thing I

I guess there's a large pool of IP addresses used by residential ISPs that could be recycled relatively easily. When I lived in Ireland I only got a public IPv6, my IPv4 was behind CG-NAT. The nerd in me wasn't a fan of that on pa

I wonder if you can use a rhyme to help people. Sander, rhymes with wander (for Americans). Björk inspired me with her own brilliant rhyming word. I'll leave it up to you to discover what she uses: https://youtu.be/AGtM

The A mount is practically dead, it's been surpassed by the full frame E-mount. Only somewhat recent Sony cameras are supported by the webcam driver, and there simply aren't many recent A-mount cameras.
