I think at least part of the problem stems from society's expectations of the "role" of men in relationships. Right or wrong, men are still largely expected to be pursuers but the rules are not well defined - often different

If I am reading that right you are saying that justice is defined by laws - rather than the law being derived from justice.

You keep assuming the initial point as a given, that is pretty much the definition of faith - belief that can't be or isn't proven.

It is not ultra-paranoid. The government's own rules regarding cell-phones in certain highly classified areas (SCIFs) require that they be left outside precisely because you can't guarantee that off means off.

Have you tried taking one out to the car and shining it up on the windshield during the day? Without any special windshield coatings you'll get a double-image, but at least you can get an idea of how visible and focused it would be un

I think it says a lot that the defense of these programs relies on what amounts to the redefinition of words, sometimes redefinitions with practically the opposite meaning - like how "collect" has been changed to mean access alrea

I'm sorry but locking two people in a room really has nothing to do with the way the vast majority of people live their lives. You are again assuming the initial point and working backwards from that belief. It seems pretty clear thi

Has anybody experimented with a pico projector? I've been thinking that a HUD would be a fantastic application since some (most?) pico's have infinite focus. Some of the newer ones are pretty bright too - especially if you only

Ever since the publication of the NSA leaks I've been wondering if any of the NSA intel has been used to disrupt Occupy. With the well established lack of actual terrorists, it doesn't take much to imagine a bit of scope creep &

I should hope not. If the NYPD has been federalized then there are a whole lot of other problems. Although, given how the NYPD has been sending agents to other states, maybe they THINK they are a federal agency.
