It is very much a cost issue, although a small one in terms of the overall price of the house. However, money that goes into 2x6 vs 2x4 studs, drywall, doors, insulation, windows comes out of the overall budget. People shop by price because

Not really. I had several HP Kayak workstations; they were rock solid and built like tanks. A bunch of our servers were HP, and they were also quite solid. This was in the early 2000's, though. I haven't seen a decent HP product i

If you seek to design for monetization over fun, it's no wonder that you'd wind up with neither and have no players, too. I wouldn't be surprised to see most games settle on $5 with a big NOIAP being the primary selling point

Their products haven't been system hogs for a long time now. I used Norton AV on a fairly reedy dual core Celeron (1.8 GHz)with a platter drive and it only slowed that thing down when it was running a scheduled scan.

FIA conducted tests on cockpit canopies several years ago. They fired a tire and wheel at it, which deflected off the canopy and into the air. It kept going, and going, and going. It was an alarming test. The last thing you want to do is la

The 1.2 GHz Core M has a maximum frequency of 2.9 GHz with turbo boost. The 1.1 GHz model will spool up to 2.6 GHz. Further, both processors are dual cores with hyperthreading. It'll be about 5% less performant than the previous Macboo
