I'm not sure how a date in the format YYYYMMDD can have an epoch of 1601. Epochs are used when storing the offset in some unit like seconds or days to a reference date. The epoch for a year YYYY is 1* BCE (since there is no year 0). It

The MA in MDMA is methamphetamine. That said, it's also an empathogen that promotes prosocial behavior, which isn't the word I'd use to describe the behavior happening.

The 1875 thing seems... unlikely. While it is possible that the SSA decided to create an epoch of 1875, I don't believe COBOL itself has such an epoch. Moreover, the SSA's actual Numerical Identification (NUMIDENT) files, the mast

It nets out to everyone but the final consumer. Imagine 30% VAT rate: Alice digs up some copper and tin and sells it to Bob for 10€ + 3€ VAT = 13€. Alice remits the 3€ to the authorities on Bob's behalf. Bob casts bronze bars and sells

Corporatism allows for control. With corporatism, a dictator only needs to control the relatively small number of guilds (sector wide corporazioni in case of Italy) to control the economy. This is a huge step up, in terms of control, from c

Yeah. Between that, the circled numbers, poor spacing, actual use of ±, odd choices of language and the brand new account, I think you're right that it's a bot.

Don't we need a law that permits rounding of prices though? If stores round down, they can potentially collect too little sales tax. If they round up, they're charging above the advertised price which, afaik, is fraud.
