Why the down vote? Is someone trying to imply that Cells isn't a sophisticated version of the Game of Life? I might be blunt, but I'm not trying to be rude on purpose

So... Basically "cells" is nothing more than a sophisticated version of John Convay's Game of Life ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conways_Game_of_Life

You're asking how to meet geek friends (with the help of internet - in a forum full of geeks...) Doesn't the answer lie in the question?

Do you consider facebook as a site which has applications or is it an application? If someone were to speak about the functionalities of the site called facebook - then would using the term "site" make facebook sound less serious?

imho that's just semantics. Make the terms clear at the start of the discussion - argument why you're using a term application instead of a website. Wouldn't that clear it up?

Your post & pitch is almost exactly the thing I was after for! I couldn't have come up with a pitch like yours, which imo would be so much better for Microsoft than the current "carton of milk" -analogy.

Dear Alain, no - I don't work in marketing, and you're probably right about the fact that I am not even near the target audience. But does it really matter? I believe you can relate to the fact that the more further you're from the target a

I do understand that the point they're trying to make and I am not arguing for that. Nor am I arguing that vintage cars might be popular - you're going into too much detail (the point was that in our modern world, in regard of products prod

Somehow I just don't see the point in comparing an internet browser to consumer goods (which are bought to be consumed) such as milk - things which are fast one time purchases. What was the marketing department thinking?

I hope that no one took that seriously? Although, based on the comments on youtube I believe someone might've taken it seriously. It was so obviously scripted by Barack's pr people to win the hearts of nerds.

How are you going to improve the user experience by cramming 6 different questions (which make no sense at all to a newbie) in to a one window? That has an oxymoron feel into it, don't you think?

What's your target audience? Everyone who has internet? Seriously? You must be bonkers. You can't seriously be suggesting that I'd opt to choose your site instead of a local one, merely because there's just a crapload of crap from everywher
