That's weird. I thought you would have to have FKs to be a RDBMS, otherwise there isn't much R-MS in it.

I disagree completely. I think the problem with Linux desktop can be perfectly illustrated by how you create a shortcut. On Windows, you right click the desktop, click new -> shortcut. A window appears with a paragraph explaining what yo

I've never heard of DuckDB. I haven't used SQLite a lot, but one thing that I noticed it lacks, and this is pretty important, is that you can't add a foreign key constraint after a table is created, which is bad if you change

Everyone is moving to wayland, meanwhile I'm using Xfce. I wonder if it will be a problem in the future if my DE doesn't support wayland.

That's so nice, it brings a tear to the eye. I hope we live up to librarians' expectations.

What I find odd is the human obsession with making AI as smart as a human. In the early periods of AI image generation, you would see AI generate images so uncanny no human could make something like that. It was genuinely unique and otherhu

I think it would be better to compare it to SQL. The RDBMS does a lot of stuff in the background with the query planner, but it's very easy to get information about implementation detail. It's not hard for someone who just writes
