This doesn't apply in this case because Apple is not stupid. They are not gonna ignore a court ruling because it will land their execs in jail. Rather than that, they will use legal means such as appealing the ruling. They are a 2T$ co

Very good point. I believe that the judge just gave a slap on the wrist to Epic Games with that fine (that's why it was equal to just the "back-pay") for breaking a contract (which is wrong, legally speaking.) I believe the j

Afaik they cannot ignore a ruling. And they don't need 30% fees for maintaining IOS ecosystem - when you buy an apple phone for $1000, you pay Apple enough for it to maintain its AppStore. Also they earn money from AppStore advertising

why not use ublock origin, rather than buy youtube premium? UO will remove every single ad in browser. It's obviously 100% fine to buy premium; I am just curious about the reasons, if any.

"Nothing matters" - that's a very soothing thought. It's soothing because we all focus of what we haven't / couldn't done. It's human mentality to think of bad things over good things. So if nothing m

Is nihilism or hedonism bad? A lot of people already live their lives for pleasure (hedonism) - people work their entire lives to earn money to either enjoy / vacation / sex / etc. Nihilism is considerably rare but I believe

I understand your solution, but is it really "Dynamic Programming"? DP requires that the problem can be broken down into subproblems. Also your method requires just quadratic time, right? (It's still pseudo-polynomial though.

That makes sense. Personally, I am not a fan of these ads because their frequency depends on who's willing to pay the most. Also, ads mean that not they are actively looking for revenue. So it's just a matter of time before more t
