Good point about the fix contract plan, I hadn't thought about it from a hiring perspective before. Almost all the jobs I've had so far have been fixed contract first. Once they're confident with my abilities I move to a daily rate. I'm not

There's really no excuse here for not getting something on-line. Twitter bootstrap, Theme Forest, etc make it easy to create something that looks reasonably good. Also do you have any projects on github/bitbucket? Have you contributed to an

I'm almost at the end of my second month freelancing (post to come soon) and find this inspiring. My biggest struggle at the moment is what to aim for, yes working three days a week and getting similar money to what I was earning full time

Protip: Don't track statistics on your blog. Little controversial, but this is the first time in my life I actively care for a blog I've created. And the reason? I don't care about the statistics. Previously my main priority was getting tra

I really really want this product to work. I can see the potential/benefit in it. But every time I try it I'm left disappointed. I know it's probably me doing something stupid, but here goes my experience this time. Oh cloud9 I really like

How much is just hosting this service costing you? I can't see any method of payment, do you have plans to monetize it? Great MVP by the way.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply! Also I know you're getting a lot of stick in this thread for the code which I feel is unjustified, I just want to say I commend you for open sourcing it.

I've a few questions if you have the time. Did you never charge? Or were you charging? What were the reasons it was / you were not ready to make it a money making business? Any mistakes or lessons learned while building/running the software

I've had a lot of recent discussions about this. My Dad always says one of the worst decisions he made when he was running his first company was not to sell it. The price was right, but he could see was the turnover and the potential to ear
