We're just missing all of the sensors (and the accompanying data), but I imagine that's only a matter of time. We're already seeing the basics of biometrics being added in.

My entire family, outside of myself, has struggled with alcohol. I watched it turn them from brilliant, creative people into miserable wretches that avoided living life like one would an allergy. For every single one of them, they started o

Yeah, I feel like there's a light slap coming Amazon's way for this. It's too blatantly anti-competitive. It should probably be more punitive than it will be, but that doesn't seem to be the way our governments are going

It seems funny that he's trying to argue about the word "pedo" when he double/tripled down on his accusations by hiring investigators. Elon Musk is a brilliant, broken and fragile man. While I hold a great respect his pr

A big thing about getting first hand experience is learning what questions you even need to ask! When you first start, you don't even know what you don't know. All the conferences in the world aren't going to help you if you

Does this not show that there is something inherently wrong with society?

Honestly I would agree with that. I'm rarely not in front of a screen as an adult. Even if I were to go tech free on the weekends, the majority of my time would still be spent on a screen.

Old forums used to feel a bit like a community. They were small and close nit, and visibility wasn't dictated by voting, so proper in-depth discussions could happen. They felt more like a collaborative room than a megaphone. At least,

I would argue that there are few, if any, countries in the world that this description would not apply to. However, I agree with the point that you're making wholeheartedly. There's a very serious amount of wealth disparity around

This seems like it's pretty unethical. I'm not a fan. Surge pricing only really (sort of) makes sense to me for resources that can be temporarily at capacity, as a means of prioritization of customers. Even that is kind of scummy.

Same here. Neil Cicierega and Weebl's crazy antics are what got me interested in basic programing way back when I was 12-13. From there I started doing more and more complicated things in Actionscript. Sure I didn't learn any theo

I'd agree with this perspective honestly. Older people no longer relate to finding as many "bae" or partners as possible. They're generally not looking for a teenage boy band to sweep them off their feet and make their d
