sadly, it is not that simple to determine who is a "good network". Every carrier lets fiber route into copper. Your logic would work, but it is a lot of work for many entities to perform. The simple fact is that neither you nor I

Yes, I was surprised at the amount of personal info people were leaving in these resumes. An email would be the latest personal I'd want to get (as someone looking for work). Sad to hear you got scraped.

Spammers make many fiber to copper to fiber connections. Every call essentially comes from a black box and every carrier is complicit. So if you make a "last mile" fine, basically every carrier will be charged "evenly".

Now you're thinking! However, the financial layer needs to be set up before the call is initiated, not after. Otherwise, it's ripe for abuse. Also, making end-users perform extra actions is just BLEH!

Find someone who's already building a useful SaaS product that they're willing to take the responsibility for, and help them build it. If it fails, at least that person takes the brunt of the negative feedback?
