Compare a MBP with a similarly built laptop. Dont pick up a plastic built or one with a shitty trackpad. Built quality IS hardware too. Same for iMacs. Don't compare an iMac with a clone in a tower. Compare it to a similar form factor: all

I have a 12V plug on my motorcycle (fused, regulated. I installed it for like 10 bucks). I also have a couple of solar chargers, they hold 2 AA batteries. They take about 8 hours of sunlight to fully charge and can put an iPhone into the 70

It worked for me. My reddit habits turned into mouse scrolling looking at pictures, it was "fun" and required no effort on my part. The first week I keept trying to access it and finding my 'default' vhost. Now I don't even miss it when I'm

There are a lot of mental illnesses (did I spelt this right?) which aren't noticeable and even untreated let you live a "normal" life (whatever a normal life is). I'm diagnosed with ADHD myself. I'm not on medication or treatment and while

It is, I just found it funny, being he the Person he is on Reddit. The only enforced rule across different subreddits I remember is not posting personal info.

It's not very clear for me with all the drama around, but they were threatening him with revealing his real identity, didn't they? It's easy to defend and justify stuff being anon.

This is true, the guy controls a lot of popular subreddits. I don't go to Reddit anymore and I'm reading less and less comment threads here because of it's leakage.

This is awesome. I've been wanted to host my own code (right now I'm con CodebaseHQ [1], great service) for security purposes but I didn't want to go with a plain git+gitosis. I have it up and running now on my nginx (it was already serving

I know the part about t-shirts is a joke, but you can print your own with stuff bought at Home Depot and in a DIY setup the cost is roughly 3$, being the most expensive stuff the t-shirt and the paint.

I've never had troubles with multi-monitor setups on a macbook, I've been using OS X since 10.4. I've pluged it to multiple proyectors, screens, TVs... It always recognized everything and the image was shown instantly. Same happens with an

Couldn't it be just perception? I still use an iPhone 3G and I remember I did not want to touch the iPhone 4 when it came out because it was a lot faster than my old 3G and I would realize it even more before playing with a 4. Now I've used

It's not like Android devices have a good track record regarding updates. I'm an iPad 1 user bought when it launched on USA (imported, I'm on Europe) and I use it every day. From RSS (Reeder) to video streaming (Plex) and SSH (Prompt). It's

You can use the Dropbox App to do that for you, it will sync your media with your Dropbox automatically. I think in this sync issue DRM is at fault. Sync between old iPods and iTunes worked that way because music was DRM'ed and they didn't

Last week one of my little toys went down. I was busy and I didn't realize till six hours has passed so I throw together this little app. It's probably a bit buggy but should work mostly OK. It supports HTTPS but doesn't check certificates.
