They have huge advertising campaign going on here in India with top bollywood stars. I would still be surprised if they were doing good here. Why is there still a market for internet messengers? There are so many of them already. it'

That's live coverage, not the event itself. Last time I saw one of these they were shambling trying to get video from people's iphones inside the hall and a couple of their guys got caught and were asked to leave.

IIRC you cannot upgrade from the preview of 8.1. You will have to do a clean install. So try getting an iso or some other file download from microsoft instead of the in-store one.

Mars has a better atmosphere and magnetosphere. Setting up a base would be easier (in the long run) on mars and compared to moon because of the amount of upkeep required. That and marks is a lot more interesting (geologically) than moon sin

How are engineering and VP of engineering "totally different"? AFAIK, there is no special qualification that makes you VP material from engineering material. An engineer with enough experience can do the job of a VP of engineering

Actually I have my startup featured on crunchbase and a ton of people contact me monthly fro there for all kinds of services to startups. I guess it's both a good and a bad thing.

Almost all of my knowledge is fully self taught with internet (no books) except for proper OOP like in cpp. That I did when they taught me in college. But I learned html5/css3/js/php/mysql/unix command line etc on m

It never makes a request to server after loading. It's not real time and it repeats the same queries again after some time. This is just a good looking design, nothing more.

Damnit, it's fixed. I was freaking out that I had it wrong all along and then after rotating my fist a couple of time I was still damn certain it's moving correct. Parent should probably edit the comment that it has now been fixed

The server would know it came from the correct device because of the initial setup of the key like in any two factor auth app.

I personally think just QR codes are equally easy. Like random number from server -> computer -> phone -> server which would be same as two factor authentication but in opposite direction.

Its seamless for two factor authentication, not regular logins.

Not only is it easier to get neat results in JS but it has a very low barrier to entry. Everyone uses the internet and is just a shortcut away from executing javascript code in console of their favorite browser on a live page. That and the

I would have voted front end but then I remembered that I intentionally avoid any work that needs to support old browsers because they are so much of a pain in the ass. So in the end I would say it's a mix of both. Front end is fun bec

Yea that would actually give a better dynamic of the number of votes. Right now the top ones are the recent ones which makes sense since the number of active users here is growing.

As a noob in encryption, why is it not possible to guess the 128 bit private key by brute force?

How is knowing a crypto is no longer strong not in public interest? We would most certainly like to know if they have broken RSA somehow.

I don't see the need to use a library. Just get the data in a data uri and use the download attribute in the a tag along with the file name. A lot easier and works in every modern browser.

I am confused. When I see HN or facebook certs they show 128 bit encryption in the browser box. 128 bit seems pretty low.

But what if they have some vulnerability in the crypto itself? thus skipping the need to brute force.

So does this means they have broken or fund a bug in RSA, fast enough computers to brute force or solved the P versus NP problem. In decreasing chances of possibility. I am also an encryption noob, so I gather that if they have broken a cry

How do I get my app to be in "for your desktop" category? It's not on the developer page of my app. It's a media player app that matches most of the requirements of the new apps.
