Pretty fun, round these parts we use a pretty specific word for a 'round piece of bread' which narrowed my area down quite well.

The phone thing isn't unique to Huawei. My wife has two sisters and they can unlock each others phones using Face ID. They were surprised when they realised this so I don't think they added each other's face or anything (I do

Hahah, once at work a guy force pushed to a branch that was just about to be merged. This almost resulted in some guys work being lost but luckily it was recovered. This was immediately followed by another dev writing 'DO NOT FORCE PUS

Same for me! Webpack config changes to cache settings, config changes to hit a different API for testing, using a different database for testing. Most of these live in my staging area and get stashed and popped when I switch branches/r

Not really. I think of my git use case at work pretty simple. I usually stash, pull down, fast-foward and then pop my stash on top. Occasionally I'll need to rebase too. Just to show I'm not a super advanced user or anything. I&#x

A little off-topic, but it's nice to read some positive news about the UK (and England in particular). I feel that we get a lot of bad press, which is a shame as really the UK isn't such a bad place overall.

This is a nice read for someone who has just started to learning GB ASM, I know the processor in the game boy isn't exactly a Z80 (or an 8080) but it's quite similar.

I noticed in the US the milk seemed a lot sweeter than what I'm used to. Then again I'm all about Museli and mainly eaten with soya milk, seems reasonably healthy and quick and easy.

Yes this for me makes complete sense. The UK has made some small steps in the right direction and I hope this continues. Childcare like I said is completely ridiculous and needs to be looked at.

Yes, this is always the problem. The UK is far from perfect and I have a few friends always talking about Scandinavian countries and how they'd want to move there. What they don't seem to understand is that all countries have thei

As a Brit, I imagine the worlds apart are the child facilities and social care? The big thing in the UK that really makes me think about not having children is the prohibitive cost of child care, although our current social care is appallin

I'm not really into these apps, but personally I love listening to one or two ASMR channels on YouTube. If I'm feeling stressed I have 3 or 4 that I listen to very often and they help me a lot.

Actually this rhyme probably had nothing to do with the Plague at all, although people go on about this all the time. This 'connection' was only picked up mid-20th century and not mentioned before. https://blogs.loc.gov

The price seems fine, I'd be happy with it. The problem I have is the amount of tracking they're apparently doing. That's the bit that makes me not use the service (not that I can in my country, but my point still stands).
