I also didn't imply this neural network's universe needs atoms, but it needs to run the computation somehow, the computation itself is the complexity, no matter with what physics or other manifestation it shows up And if it is sim

The neural net itself needs something to run in (some universe). If the argument is that it needs a smaller or simpler universe than ours: first of all it is simulating our universe so all complexity of ours is included anyway, but also, ma

On signed integers, -0x80000000 returns 0x80000000 itself since there's no positive value opposite to this negative value, so 0x80000000 as NaN would make sense, but alternatively 0x80000000 as projective infinity would also make sense

Do you happen to know if there's a linux filesystem that has bitrot protection, but doesn't need snapshots? - ZFS is not in the Linux kernel so I don't want to use it for a daily work machine - btrfs works fine but its tools

Those perfect radians use 2*pi, aka tau, though, a different math notation issue, where mathematicians have chosen the wrong option (imho) and a case for disrupting that part of math notation, to make radians easier to teach: 1/4th of

At least in the games I play usually texture detail and screen resolution are two independent settings (and if you play windowed it can be any arbitrary resolution), I am mostly a PC gamer though, not sure what console games do.

Why would screen resolution affect memory that much? The textures would be the same, and 4K monitor pixels is megabytes, not gigabytes

This leak only makes me more stoked for the game, so I hope this doesn't cause any detrimental effect on development. If anything, it shows how hard the development is and what kind of details are being tested.

Heh, it has way more than 8. For char, you have 3: signed char, unsigned char and char. It's not specified if char without keyword is signed or unsigned. You have integer types such as size_t, ssize_t and ptrdiff_t. They may, under t
