Why would they encode the ip in transactions sent to an address instead of from an address? Anyone can send BTC to an address, while only the botnet operators would be able to send from it. Then it would be unlockable.

Your comment resonates with me but I'm not sure I fully understand it: "compliance transfers risk out of the project and onto the standard/model": If I choose to be compliant to a standard, some of the risks are mitigate

I don't understand the title of this article. The combination of "2021" and "still" implies that something happened that makes this policy nonsense given the current state of affairs. Did I miss something?

I'm in the EU and clicked agree before I realised the implications. Now I want to withdraw my consent, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. Am I overlooking something or is that not possible (which would violate GDPR)?

Is there any advantage in using this method over HMAC with the key stored in the HSM, without pepper or salt? It seems overly complex to me but I'm not a cryptographer.

If they're going after individual sites, could a 'workaround' be to keep switching domain names with a suffix like the week number? With a redirect on the main site to the site of the week. It would require new takedown notic

I can see how that works for an internal network. How does this work for SaaS solutions that would normally be directly on the internet? Would they have to be "shielded" to be on a private network and somehow be "Boundary ena

Is there a simple paper that explains how this works on a technical level? I have a hard time visualizing how a connection to a remote host would be set up if it runs through Boundary. Does "without requiring direct network access"

"Instead, Dr Nabarro is advocating for a new approach to containing the virus.". Too bad the article does not mention what the alternative is. The article feels like a hollow statement.

A really good explanation of the bow tie method can be found on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpGKHncw-d8 Though I can see it helps in the analysis of a specific event, I feel to grasp how to use it to map risks a priori
