I don't think reddit can be profitable. The moment it is the userbase will move on to the next thing. A new site can spring up over night. A new reddit could be coded in weeks. its all a matter of people choosing to congregate there. T

The problem is like its asking you what your favorite type of glue is. Favorite hammer. Favorite color. Favorite grade of gasoline. Unless you have some weird emotional attachment to the subject it makes no sense.

Because it's not a privacy issue. Privacy is the red herring. There's already ways to protect your privacy online. Additionally no one wants online privacy. People spend long hours making their facebook page

The issue is not data location. Its that their localized domain for europe does but their international domain does not. Googles argument is their international domain doesn't fall under european jurisdiction.

I don't think hes argueing of the whole web.. hes talking about javascript. Eg websites that could and perhaps should be apps. This is different from a website that provides information.

I don't see the problem with "clones". No one ever cries clone outside of the industry. Pepsi isnt considered a coke clone. Reebok isn't a nike clone. And so on. So as long the "clone" isn't impersonating

Anything you consume in any way could be a drug depending on how you classify it. Typicaly the term drug implies some thing negative while terms like nutrition and medicine implies some thing positive. Its all politics though.

I feel like under score just makes your code compact. They're also ignoring that I might want to be doing input validation while iterating over those lists. Forcing me to add a loop right after that very compact code and nullifying it
