Reading this story, seems to be a story straight out of Venkatesh Rao fertile mind instead of a real life story. These guys will have a tough 2016 quarter, now all the eyes left Martin Shkreli to be on them.

In every considerations, an AI pilot has all the advantages in a physical combat, no G force limit, precise maneuvers, instant reactions, full time awareness. The only question is, will the rules of war allow an AI to kill a human ? Or how

Helium in the atmosphere could not be depleted but its' extraction is still expensive while a rig where you can extract it from the rocks might be cheaper. It's all about extraction and processing engineering, let's see what

The only blamable thing in this story is that the so called mainstream media are not technically knowledgeable enough to "scientifically" check their news sources. Good thing, all the nerds around have exposed the scheme in such a

It's always like that when you deal with the State, first it gives you the freedom to argue and tries to convince you, if you don't, then a single piece of legislation is enough to coerce you.

Starting a business with rails makes sense and still do. And later moving to another technology that scales better makes sense too. After all, you will probably be a millionnaire at the time you need to scale your product so why worry ?
