I'm glad Framework exists but I don't envy them. Selling laptops aimed at the most nitpicky never-satisfied group of people must make it hard to see through the noise. I wish them the best.

On the roadmap they posted, they have "self-host Excalidraw" as backlogged. Is there a self-hosted alternative to Excalidraw? I would love to use something like this internally with my team but we self-host all of our services.

Excalidraw is used for everything from napkin math to meeting notes to complete software architecture. Naturally the companies using it want to know what the security make up of the company is. This can come in the form of a giant document

I think you'd be surprised at the amount of people who don't understand this. Go ask a random person on the street or a nontechnical friend you have and see what answer you get.

I remember them saying that. I would've hoped Fairphone would up their hardware security standards since then.

Liquor is highly regulated which may lead you to believe that Texas should legalize and regulate THC products.

Texas is not tough on crime. Like most corrupt governments, they are tough on people they don't like.

> The Core i5 version of the Laptop 12 lasted around 10 hours in the PCMark Modern Office battery life test, which isn't stunning but is a step up from what the fully specced versions of the Framework Laptop 13 can offer. It will be

I plan on buying one of these for my dad. He is older and isn't really technical. Having a machine I can easily repair for him is worth the cost.

One thing I don't hear people is ads used as tracking tools. The Facebook pixel is huge for not just tracking for digital advertisements but tracking across the web for surveillance. With ads in WhatsApp, you could in theory use advert

I hope we can make hosting open source on VPS much more accessible to the average person. Something like Sandstorm[0] or Umbrel[1]. [0] https://sandstorm.org [1] https://umbrel.com/

I agree. If you're going to make the bus completely plastic, at least wash it down at night when it heads back to the depot.

Trump is immune to these types of attacks. His supporters don't operate on the same value system. He has been linked with Epstein for years. He has been impeached twice. None of that matters to his supporters and saying Elon saying it

Like the other poster said, it's all an act. Tesla sales are way down and Elon's entire fortune is tied to Tesla stock. They are trying to get some gullible people to buy Tesla's and the press is running with it like it'

It's cool but you can tell the sprites are low quality and AI generated. They have that trademark AI "fuzziness." It's possible that players would think it is a design choice but it is noticable.
