As someone who dreams of making a living selling software that I've poured years and years into, that comment makes me very sad.

That's what I'm working on, basically love2d but SDL3 and TS/JS (via QuickJS). And no box2d builtin, but easily importable via CDN.

Doesn't C have slices but they're just kind of manual and non ergonomic and memory unsafe?

This is far too clever for me to even begin to understand. How do you get the hello world working? I tried pasting ,--('\< into the code and if it walks like a lamb and quacks like a duck into the stdin field.

What do you mean, George? > It seems to have a pretty high ratio of "I use X because it's the only one that has Y" type features, all in one place.

Seems that the ones with a genuine ability to innovate are always the least motivated to either start their project, follow through with it, or share it when finished, beyond a doctoral thesis that gets them a PhD they never really end up u

According to this benchmark of Lua vs QuickJS[1] the Dino language[2] is supposedly much faster than Lua. It also seems to check most of my boxes? [1] https://sabotage-linux.neocities.org/blog/9/ [2] https:/

When I write code, I always start with the platform, which drives and limits the language choices. I don't say I want to write in C++, I say I want to write for web, or for iOS, or Windows, or whatever. If I'm writing for web, I&#

Defs is also how the arrows work in this WebGL2 diagram[2], and in fact, I don't think they're possible without defs, because of `marker-end` which seems to require a marker present in defs. [2] https://webgl2fundamen
