The policy of including the author's name next to the project name, along with some indication that it really is the author and not an imposter, I think that's probably the best we're ever going to get, since at that point it

I don't understand why they want to go with DLLs for scripting instead of WASM + wamr which is really small. Maybe I'm just really inexperienced in this space.

It's like an extremely lightweight LLVM yet I can't find any decent discussions on it on HN so far, except one with a half dozen semi useful comments.

It gives me so much nostalgia for certain Trillian 0.7x skins that I can't put my finger on. Skinning apps was one of the things I wanted to bring back.

I remember learning how simple and pure Makefiles were back in about 2010, and then running into so many bumps that a friend recommended CMake. But usually CMake just uses Make under the hood anyway. I really do like this idea of "buil

For some reason I've found myself wanting a "lighter VS Code" lateley, which is ironic considering I used VS Code for the past 10 years because it is so lightweight. So I've wanted to try out Zed, but it's just ..

Your website adds "discovering". How do you discover snippets with this? Is there a list of shared snippets? Or do you have to be given a specific link to see one?

Since macOS isn't really designed for power users, that's probably fine. What was really annoying was Apple Mail randomly opening. Literally just randomly in the middle of my work day, when there's no new mail and no reason a

Rust feels like wearing a giant bubble just to go outside safely. C++ feels like driving a car. Dangerous but doable and often necessary and usually safe. (Forth feels like being drunk?)
