Thanks for taking the time to respond. At a minimum, it's good to know that you're a HN reader. I've got 100+ business domains at GoDaddy. I've had a todo to move these somewhere for a while now and Hover is (was?) my top target. Coincident

It's not unusual for me to browse the web from my wife's iPad. An email link doesn't work for me in that it requires me to use her account. For a while I didn't have email set up on my iPhone, but I'd still often surf the web. Again, I'd be

This OP is only asking for those interested in an invite to email him. Seems like a genuine offer. This, I think is more inline with your comment: http://www.businessinsider.com/i-have-invites-to-google-want...

Searching is a serious consideration, but I think most people will search for something like 'tigger task manager' or 'tigger cli'. There's enough differentiation between this app and the children's character. On the other end of the spectr

Agreed. Every time I land on an OnSwipe-themed page, I immediately hit my Readability bookmarklet. Sometimes I don't bother and just hit the back button. I often get frustrated with web pages that are modified/altered to work with the iPad.

I would love support for Markdown syntax highlighting. I know the language itself provides visual clues for structure, but some light formatting say for headlines is nice. I quickly found this sample from Solarized: http://ethanschoonover.

In my experience, if you're using a lot of browser hacks then you're doing something wrong. With that said, IE continues to be the problem child, so most of the time a hack or two is required. In this case, I think Paul Irish's method helps

I was thinking more in terms of that $5k anonymous buyer. The value of the apps aren't even close to that amount. The buyer is not getting any advertising benefit since they are anonymous. So the one benefit would be a tax credit due to the

I'm kinda surprised to see that $5,555.55 anonymous contribution. 4chan comments aside, I guess it's just someone feeling generous? I know that the purchaser can indicate the amount to go to charity, but I'm under the impression that this i

Thanks. Even though my original comment was terse, I was honestly curious. My company is going through the hiring process for the first time now, so we're trying to establish a procedure for managing licenses. It's pretty clear that when yo

I was thinking the same thing upon first inspection. We have about 200 domains with DNS Made Easy. We don't even get close to the allotted queries for the account. I think we pay about $180 per year for all 200. I'll need to read up on this

The counter argument (to my snide calculator comment) is that we become overly dependent on helpers. There's a story about a young person standing next to their locked car in a shopping center parking lot. The battery in their key fob had g
