They are cool, man they've grown. I used that when there were ~20 VM's on there. Its a great project but think its only physically in Amsterdam which is why I ended up moving back to vultr, as they have many more options.

I've always gone with Vultr (vultr.com) for BSD VMs, its properly supported by them and while I've never hard verified this, they seem like a nice smaller player. Like they have offered Open/Free BSD VM's for > 10 yea

Looking for people and projects who are building alternatives to the big is better status quo. Bootstrapped, community driven, people sized. Both tech and non tech alike. Ideally put details in survey, otherwise respond here.

Seems electric cars produce the same or sometimes more non combustion particulates than ICE cars, eg. bits of road and tire that are flung into the air while driving. So EVs are better than ICE for air quality, but fewer cars even better.

Might find .xyz domains are more likely to be marked as spam, and people may be unlikely to want to use one. Its short to write but long to say / not common. I could be wrong but I think very few will be enticed by the domain alone or

Depending on your ability to influence, I've done all of the following in my last roles (now working solo so don't have these problems) - Pick a day to be 100% meeting free, agree with team / other teams to do same, block out

While I don't love the article, its wording and the rather pompous "/notes$ cat working-with-ai.md" gimmick ... oh you know what cat does? I agree with part of the thesis, a lot of the skill set (not the people manageme

Whenever I see anything today that is a game that wants me to answer a question, my first thought is I am working for free to train a model. I don't always know what or why but I am pretty sure that's what is happening.

I built https://kilta.io for this exact kind of problem, how do I find people near me with similar interests. But its new and not venture backed so building the required network is slow. Short of that try meetup.com, there are o

We don't have time anymore for A or B, we need to do both things now. End the fossil fuel industry and change our diets. If we don't radically decrease emissions by ~2030 we are ensuring +2C by ~2050. And +2C is going to be fugly.
