Iirc hdmi has 19 wires. USB c is around 10 (but mirrored so ~20 on the connector). Making hdmi symetrical would require a 38 wire connector which would be large and prohibitively expensive.

Probably epoxy potted, an order of magnitude more difficult to repair. Either way a coating is probably called for in the places a generator will be used so you probably wouldn't want to skip it just for repairability.

When it's those conditions though I just use a light touch on the throttle to make wheel speed match ground speed, a lot of easier than trying to shift in and out of neutral.

I spend about 5 months every year driving in snow and ice - this is the first I'm hearing about dropping it into neutral. Can you elaborate on when that would be appropriate? Obviously you shouldn't be slamming on the brakes, bu

If you stay on top of fluid filming or wool waxing you can largely avoid this. I've got 7 winters of WI slush and salt on my truck and just a few nickel sized spots of surface rust on the frame so far.

That's just circling back on "city boy tries to grow a plant". Your garden provided you with both fruit and meat. You were just unwilling/unable to harvest the meat.
