Yeah I understand why people find them confusing. They trip me up too, and I write a lot of Svelte. I think it would have been better if Rich had added something like the computed/useEffect style of this concept, but it would have look

Just throwing this out there, but have you considered that React and Vue in fact also have custom non-JS syntax? JSX is not valid JS, parsers had to be written to work with it. And Vue uses templating syntax in HTML, just like Svelte. Svelt

Dev dependencies can be a risk factor too. It is code you are running on your own machine after all.

Just making your pod accessible is not as complicated as it seems. All you need are: 1. A kubernetes service resource. This just contains a selector that points at your pod. 2. An ingress. You point this at the service you just made. You wi

There's a difference between what the law says they can and can't do, and what the forces of capital are set up to encourage them to do. The law may say you can't avoid costly waste disposal by dumping it into the rainforest,

I think nuclear has a place in our future energy sources, but... Could the difference perhaps be that one has the capability of venting radioactive materials into the surrounding countryside?

The networking may have been open like that, but I'm not sure the content ever was. It seems to me like a lot of internet users consume mainly the content of sites from their country. Kind of hard to blame them when that content is pro

Deindustrialization is, in my opinion, just a natural phase brought on by the profit motive. Labor and raw materials are always going to be the most expensive parts of producing anything, and even if we converted the United States into Anca

I'm curious about the approach you guys are taking here. The client side of doing WebRTC is by far the easiest part. Maintaining separate client side implementations for mobile and web is... no harder then maintaining a web and mobile
