Are you kidding? Without the founders Tesla would not have existed. They took the risk and had the vision. Musk then came in later as an opportunist.

That’s not true at all. Apple was founded in 1976. Nine months later Markkula was added to the cap. table, in 1977, thanks to his investment. Early investor and employee, yes, founder, no.

That's not my read. I read that they've found a bunch of exploits in io_uring but are only willing to talk publicly about previously disclosed ones, like the one fixed by backporting to 5.10. Just because they used that as an exam

This reminds me very much of Steve Ballmer’e dismissive reaction to the original iPhone.

It will be bad for consumers too. Tesla is going to overcharge non-Tesla EVs to subsidize Tesla owners’ charging. And when there is an hour long queue at the Supercharger, you will need to buy a clunky adapter in advance, and hope you didn’

You should try Google and Facebook's internal SCM tools. Better than Git by miles. Git itself was a copy of the real innovator in the space, BitKeeper. Git, being free, has undercut commercial solutions, and that market is now a wast

You won’t get it. Apple makes killer hardware and pretty decent integrated software. Great hardware/software integration is a lot of work and OSS devs just aren’t up to the task.

CCS1 was published in 2011. Tesla didn’t design NACS until 2012. It’s a myth that Tesla had to invent their own proprietary system because no standard was available.

I don’t think you need a conspiracy theory to explain Wayland underperformance: free OSS labor doesn’t produce great things, when those great things require a lot of unsexy work. If you want to follow the money, recognize that there is no

Then why did Tesla jack up prices so much over the last few years? All part of the plan to gain market share? Tesla inventory is at an all-time high. This seems a demand issue.
