Great. Step two: NYC should force Lyft and Uber to buy taxi medallions for each car. There are way too many of idle cars trolling around, taking up space and polluting.

Severe drought brought on my climate change is not going to be fixed by “forest management.” There is no forest around any of these fires.

Apple may depend on the PRC, but this move doesn’t lessen that; Apple has never sourced chips like these from mainland China. They do import a lot of other things that this factory doesn’t make. I think you mean they are dependent on Taiwan

You see thousands of ads of every type every day and ignore them. Now you’re doing a test and consciously looking for ads related to pools. Of course you’re going to find something.

Your phone can listen for “hey Google” because it’s only one phrase and the model can run at very low power on specialized hardware. If you want to add 1000 keywords the battery drain would be intense.

You’re using a dirty IP and not using Apple Safari, which has solved this via Private Access Tokens. Move out of the sticks.

Carbon neutral jet fuel is a thing, but believe me, there will soon be more AI data centers than commercial jet aircraft. Far more. It will be an arms race such as the world has never seen.

The bible is a slaveowner’s manual. Jesus didn’t teach not to own slaves; he taught how own slaves. For that reason alone, reading it should be discouraged.

People have been doing this for ages. It comes down to the effort model in use. Personally, I prefer BEAKL layouts, because I have very weak and slow pinkies.

Look at the kings and chiefs of old. Power grabs are as old as civilization itself. In the case of wolves and lions, even older.

You admit you have no idea what the details are, yet you default to considering Apple in the wrong, for exploitation which you do not detail. Your comment is worthless.

How can it be perfect if it runs Linux? Ghetto tinkerer OS, nothing ever works, contributed to by amateurs who can’t get a real job writing software (kernel excepted, it has some paid devs).

Humans overrun all habitats, ruining previously nice areas like California. Building more housing only exacerbates the breeding problem. For that reason, I disagree with including the fertility rate. Good for 401Ks but terrible for living,

This kind of extra-judicial tampering cuts short the process, which exists for a reason. There are two sides to every story--I have every reason to expect there was a valid reason for a lawsuit here. Such mafia-like behavior is unsettling.
